As stated in other posts, I LOVE doing large family-shoots. Dating from my previous work, I love working with people, and observing a family interact during one of these shoots uplift me as a person. I always feel blessed that people trust me with this view into their lives. Thank you!

Big family shoot!

I love big family shoots. They are so much fun and energy(almost like a gym workout...). I met this lively family on the day of the shoot, (some members are from Zanzibar) and capturing a re-uniting moment makes this shoot so special. Newborn!!! Doesn't get cuter than this. The perfect model. Little Juane was on her best behaviour,as if born to do this. I had the most fun ever! It was one of that shoots where I had to force myself away from the moment (if I get into it, I REALLY loose myself somewhere between the Memorycard and the sensor of the camera....). And the results show...

On a rainy day in May, little Mia didn't think it was funny that we wanted to make her be the model she will grow into. But she gave us her best on that cold morning, and as mom and dad was about to leave she fell into an angelsleep, making us put the lights back on and camera into action.....nothing like a sleeping angel...
