De Villiers Family shoot

Big groups are always a bit tricky - add 4 boys and it can easily become sticky!!! But this family shoot was a LOT of fun. I felt like a gym instructor (and felt the part afterwards!). But the images came out perfect with a couple of shots where everybody had their eyes open!! Thanks you all - it was great fun!

Aaah- that's the reaction just seeing this happy family! Having a little bundle of boy in my home, I realise only too often that it takes a special kind of person to get them past the age of 10!! So to wonderful mom Marelie and contented dad Niel: Well done. Your boys are lovely!!! (pictures speak for themselves...)

Aaah! What a wonderful shoot (and great couple...)! We shot this on location at a beautiful venue... and capturing this so-in-love couple on film (so-to-speak) was a pleasure. We had a few touch-and-go moments in the shaky boat-with-no-oars, but we managed to get the image!! Thanks you guys - I look forward to you wedding on Saturday. Doing what I love most!!!!

Today I woke up, got dressed, got in my car to drive to my photography studio in Paarl and do what I love most: capturing moments in time... I still work in my studio and outdoors and think to myself: 'I must have the best job in the world!' Yesterday I finished an engagement shoot for a couple whose wedding I'm photographing on Saturday, and just seeing the bride-to-be's face when I showed her the images - that totally makes my day... every time!! So to all of you blessed people who wake up in the morning to go and live your dream: thumbs up and hip-hip hooray!!!!
